Approvals Process

All shop drawings produced by Mundus Designs require approval from the purchasing owner, their representative, or the project’s architect/designer.

We provide concrete color samples for approval, acknowledging that while we strive to minimize color variation, the natural minerals in concrete contribute to its unique aesthetic. It’s these natural variations that imbue each piece with character, distinguishing our work from mass-produced alternatives.

Product Specifications

Mundus Designs’ products are tailor-made, utilizing the finest materials to ensure optimal strength and durability.

Color

We take great care to match the concrete to the approved color sample, offering custom colors to suit your project. Additives may be incorporated to enhance strength and expedite curing. Explore our color gallery for inspiration.

Sealer and Finishes

Our products are treated with the highest-quality sealers available, providing superior chemical and abrasion resistance. The sealers are water-based for food safety, offer exceptional stain resistance against common household substances, and can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Available in both gloss and satin finishes, these sealers are trusted internationally and chosen by discerning homeowners globally. Additional finishes can be applied to accentuate the concrete’s natural hues and texture.

Fabrication

All Mundus Designs pieces are crafted off-site and reinforced with rebar, fibers, and agents for enhanced durability. Each item is handcrafted from natural materials, ensuring that, while some color variation may occur, all products meet the highest industry standards.

Installation

We provide delivery and installation services for all our products—except fire features—which are installed by a licensed professional.

Warranty

Mundus Designs stands behind the quality of our work. Should any product exhibit manufacturing defects within the first year of ownership, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item to ensure your complete satisfaction.
